Our Pope, Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops and Priests made it very clear; that voting for a Pro-Abortion Candidate is a significant sin and no other issue can justify the mass extermination of human life. "Thou shalt not kill" (Exodus 20:13). The Bible holds that the everlasting soul is infused at the moment of conception. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you" (Jeremiah 1:5). "For he (John the Baptist) shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb" (Luke 1:15). Other issues such as the economy, foreign affairs, the housing crisis and immigration pale in comparison. It is important for Catholics to understand that the benefits promised by Abortion Candidates come at a very high price, a price that is too high to pay. "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36). Yet there are Catholics willing to jeopardize their salvation for promises of marginal tax breaks or withdrawing our troops from terrorist time-bomb territories before the implementation of a stable form of Government could be implemented. Utilizing our God-given common sense, what issue could possibly prevail over the slaughter of the estimated 45-50 million innocent lives? Although the death toll in Afghanistan and Iraq has reached 4000 Americans, it is easily outweighed by the slaughter of nearly 10,000 babies a day in the United States. The paramount issue is voting for abortion, which is tantamount to supporting abortion.
Those advocating abortion would have us believe it is painless, that the fetus is not self-aware. This is one of the reasons God confers Private Revelations. Through these invaluable communications of God, He provides supplementary knowledge and truths. A Candidate who utilized his or her political skills to promulgate abortion by voting for legislation supporting abortion-on-demand officially assists in the evils of abortion. Pro-Abortion politicians who pave the way for genocide are just as responsible for the slaughter as the abortionists themselves. Each and every one of us has a duty and responsibility to utilize our vote to end the silent massacre. When you cast your vote, consider the innocent lives of those who have no voice, but what has been communicated to us through God.

Obama has been unapologetic about his abortion record. People dismissed it, and believed the lies Stupak was spewing about holding out for a life protection clause in the health care reform atrocity that was rammed through in March. Just in case you forgot, it was Stupak’s spineless deal that put this over the edge, and gave the “pro-life” Dems the cover they needed to vote the way they really wanted to vote. It was the final straw for the passage of the bill.

What, then, determines an “elective” abortion? Is the mother who chooses to terminate her baby with Down’s Syndrome “electing” to have an abortion, or is she forced by circumstances? The National Right to Life Committee has determined that the only abortion that will not be covered under the plan is gender selection. It’s dangerous territory, which is why there should be no Federal funding for abortions, period. Everyone has a different definition of what is “elective.” We know all too well what happens when Washington has room to maneuver within the wording of the law. So, Bart Stupak, this is on your head. I hope your district remembers when you promised them that this bill would not include abortion funding.
